my xbox game pass expired today so i boot up my xbox and see the gamepass games are gone(obviously) but the xbox live gold games i've gotten over the years are still there so i thought maybe they were nice and let me keep this but nope.

you download one and go to play it and it says you have to have a live subscription to play it.

i mean, it's expected. you get them free with a sub and i don't have the sub. I feel like those free monthly games should stay yours since you paid for the month that they offered it but it's whatever. I highly doubt i'd ever want to actually play most of them

PSN does the same, I see plus games I downloaded prior that were free that month but they're locked
