Not really sure where else to share this, but wanted to share an 'achievement' of sorts for me lately. I've been drastically reducing my time on the internet and not just basically staying in my room all the time when not forced to go out. Usually it's only a walk somewhere, or even going to the shops more but it's really out of my comfort zone. I hate grocery shopping, but it's good practice. Sometimes I'll walk a bit further each day, I'll sometimes try to look at someone and say 'Good morning' or whatever just to practice eye contact whether it be the cashier or someone on the street. You'd be surprised how many other people actually smile back when you're not expecting the worst.
Also really cut my time on video games down drastically and Netflix. Little small steps, but I've been trapped in a cycle for so long and it feels good to pick away at it. Try not to put myself down so much either lately and just accept that things are going to be hard and the fact I try to do new things, I should be proud of that, I've always been really bad with bottling things up and just basically punishing myself mentally.
How are you? I'm feeling a bit better tonight, been a long week though.
