I think overall the people that freak out any time "sports entertainment" happens in AEW are my least favorite takes lol

But they won't accept any other definition of sports entertainment than like early PG era WWE lol

MJF and all of his storylines have been pure sports entertainment for the last like year or two

and it's some of the most popular stuff going in AEW

Sports entertainment can be good or bad just like all forms of wrestling can be, that's why I get annoyed when people seem like they just dislike the concept of something and aren't even taking account the actual things happening

for me personally, I enjoy the corny sports entertainment angles. I like having a reason people are in the ring fighting instead of just randomly thrown together matches.

There's good and bad goofy shit, and good and bad serious shit it's too hard to think about that tho lol

I think AEW does a decent happy medium of it.

I like both, I still like that it's a pseudo sport so I want some that are simply "these two want to move up the ranks to challenge for a title" too

I mostly just want character continuity, I don't wanna be like why is this guy doing this when two weeks ago he said this

yeah if it's like a tournament or for a title shot, that's all i need.

And both companies are good at that rn for the most part

but a lot of times on like rampage the show will start and the match is already underway, it's rampage tho and not their main show so it's not a big deal and the matches are usually great so it's not a big complaint from me.

I think Kevin Owems is the absolute best, he'd never let them book him on a segment aligned with a past ally without at least making a joke about it
