It's not about not caring though... The problem is that the people who yell the loudest about how politics shouldn't be crossed with "escapism" forms of entertainment are the same who say nothing about, for example, WWE doing Tribute to the Troops, which is the most political thing WWE does each year. For most of those people it's not about not caring, but rather about having a very specific opinion they don't wanna utter out loud, because they'd realize how damn hypocritical they are.
