Yeah the fresh stuff isn't, I'll usually get like those packaged spinach and kale mixes tho and that shit is brown half the time

But if you're just getting like a fresh head of kale yeah it's good lmao

The meat I feel like is also fine quality wise it just scares me

We had to remove lettuce all the time for recalls

Meat also comes in every morning in sealed bags

I loved unloading the meat truck at 4am. Chill in the cooler with headphones

We have a small town so it gets purchased fast. Idk about big cities with plenty of options. They date the stuff at least

I remember they sent us a pallet of bananas with spider eggs so we had to toss all of them and the store didn’t have bananas for a few days and people flipped shit

Worst part of the job was waiting on trucks. We showed up at 4am and most of the time trucks were there already so we could unload it but other days it wouldn’t show up for hours so we would be behind

Was off at 1pm tho. That was nice. Management would should up at 11or noon and i was basically on my way out.
