My main history teacher was the basketball coach but he was also one of the top 3 teachers I had easily

One time I watched Schindler's List in both English and History class the same year, the English teacher was like "this is an edited version because the movie is so graphic" the history teacher was like "this is too important of history to censor so we're watching the full version"

None of the current coaches I had at teachers were that good but I liked their classes. The best teacher I've ever had and one of the only ones I think was even actually good was a retired coach tho

That same history coach also got a head coaching job at another school the year I had him and left like a month early so we had subs until the year ended

I did sports my first two years of high school so I didn't have to take any PE after that

I took PE as a senior just because I wanted to have PE again

My history teacher asked me to dress as Joesph Stalin so they could show how brutal life was under Stalin and the USSR as a whole

in 6th grade my english/history teacher was teaching us about Chinese monks and we had to take a vow of silence for the day. We had her for half the day anyway but we weren't supposed to talk in the other classes either

But she let us grade ourselves on the honor system so no one talked all day
