I think Tony is learning fantasy booking is different than irl booking. You do something you think works on paper and see you don’t care for it after doing it irl and he drops it. This is why I try to focus on what I know works or what I think will work and try not to go too out there with stuff.

yup, and on the flip side sometimes he throws shit at the wall and we get Cole Mjf working , and no one in their right minds would ever think that pairing works lol

I do think another big difference is stuff is a lot more open ended in TK land of booking, they are not going to beat you over the head with any angle on commentary or on tv

it took TNA what, at LEAST 5 years to start even booking women with any semblance of competence? maybe more? it took WWF and WWE like 30+ years. this is just the women wrestling example but ya, this shit don't happen over night, and there will be many, many growing pains through a multitude of eras in the growth of a new and old company. it's just like when ppl hyperfocus on which company is hot or cold, ppl already forgot how cold wwe was in 2019. this shit is also cyclical

NWA-TNA had no desire to have a women’s division. But once TNA got on Spike and wanted a women’s division, to be fair, it took them I think 2 years. By 2008 they were considered the goats for women’s presentation. By 2008 standards. It’s nothing compared to current day Impact or NXT.
