Yeah everyone from the towns that aren't dallas have pride that they aren't even if their 20 mins away

makes sense don't wanna admit you Dallas. Hell Cowboys or Rangers ain't Dallas despite claiming the city for 50 years.

My logic for the Rangers is they encompass the entire state not a city bc of the name even if the name is just a reference to the actual police force

which is fair. I heard one of the teams used the Dallas skyline for a design and the city of Arlington went ape shit about it.
