Racing is full of damn sponsorships also. The Cup Series(the top one in NASCAR) doesn’t have a title sponsor, but supposedly that’s NASCAR’s choice. But they were at one point The Monster Energy Cup Series. Was Sprint Cup Series before that, Nextel Cup Series before that, and then the first one they had for many years before Tobacco couldn’t advertise like that anymore, The Winston Cup Series!

Then secondary series is right now The Xfinity Series, use to be the Nationwide Series, and then before that The Busch Series. Then for Trucks, you have the Craftsman Truck Series as the name now. Before that, Camping World Truck Series in 2021 and 2022. 2020 it was Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, 2019 the Gander Outdoors Truck Series, was also Camping World Truck Series from 2009-2018, and before THAT. Craftsman Truck Series

Back in the day, drivers pretty much had the same sponsor and paint scheme all season. Now to fill out a season, teams gotta get like 3-4 or more
