yeah the plucking thing I can accept as hype and pumping WWE tires (even though I think most ppl who watch both product chuckled at that a bit). I feel like selling him as an underdog who is on a redemption arc would have been much, much more ffective (and truthful)

to be fair how long was he a free agent? 2 weeks? His contract expired and he went right over, probably was his intention all along so for all we know TK wanted him back and he said nah fam I'm out (unlikely but who knows). But you're spot on with the underdog story.

considering how he was used in the last year of his contract, I am comfortable stating that AEW were not interested in re-signing him or pushing him ever

if he puts in the work and has a half decent character and promos he will be ok though, but if they try to push him hard right off the bat, I think it's gonna go bad. he needs to earn it imo
