WCW/WWF wasn't a problem tho. WWF almost lost the war in 1996/97, but people forget that WWF still did better than WCW ever did on PPV.

wcw was hot for a very short amount of time and were mired with terrible business decision as well as a network who didnt support them. could that happen to aew? maybe, but i think media is different now and theres not as much as stigma on wrestling now
