Summons are pretty cool in 16. they are story basedtho

the summons are actually people who harness their powers, the main character you play as is Ifrit.

but yeah, the boss battles are visually pleasing but they feel more like a Devil May Cry game or something than a FF game.

I guess I am also in that weird boat of ''are these even RPGs anymore'' where everything that has a leveling system and a skill tree is an RPG where imo ...its just adventure games with rpg elements

prob why i like BG3 so much, it feels like a true ROLE PLAYING experience

and theres so many ways to do things, I love it
