I really wish Meltzer would just admit he's not a fan of WWE's style in general tbh; I think that's where a lot of contention with people comes from is he likes to act like he's an authority on wrestling when he's just the most vocal and popular critic with his own biases.

I'll say this about star ratings, the moment you start doing stuff like 6/7 star ratings, it kinda just loses all meaning, not that it had any meaning in the first place.

ive also never watched a 5 star match that he rated 5 and i thought it sucked. so i still feel its a legit barometer for what to go out and seek

My larger overall point was more that if Dave Meltzer thought that WrestleMania was good enough to have two five star ratings, that's kind of impressive.
