Classic case of what people are used to nowadays... I mean how many people play a brand new game or go to a movie and one of the first thoughts they have, when they talk about it, is something like "I want this in the sequel" or "I can't wait for the next game/part", without it being even locked in that there will be one? ... and then when there isn't, they get pissy about it.
