If you don't know the story what happened was that he wrestled originals Mascara Magica in CMLL until his departure in 1992. He then left the company to go to AAA, which his dad helped formed. The Mascara Magica gimmick was popular, but CMLL owned the rights to the character so Guerrero then appeared on a televised AAA show as Mascara Magica, only to then unmask himself along with the aide of his tag team partner that night, Octagón. This was a huge no-no and it pissed everyone off to the point where the other team began to legit beat him up.

He then started tagging with El Hijo de Sato, which I can explain this and why this was big, and then he betrayed him and allied himself with Art Barr. He also spent time in Japan as Black Tiger II. Eddie was meant to show up for a match in AAA, but ditched it for ECW. And when he did that AAA had enough and blackballed him. So that is how he got blackballed in the country of Mexico basically
