I mean I liked nWo Hogan… that’s about it. That’s more because I liked the nWo. Was more a Macho Man fan.

you were born in the early 90's. You never saw WWF Hogan 1985-1991 when he was full Hogan. You caught the WCW stuff which was just retreads of what worked ages ago but wouldn't work for them in the mid 90's. Then you got good Hogan again with nWo Hogan.

yeah not the same. But it makes sense for people who didn't grow up with Hogan to not like him. Hell I didn't grow up with Flair and never really liked his work (Got to see his 90's WWF run and then his Nitro era stuff onward). Respect the legend but never had an emotional attachment to him so didn't really like it.

I personally think if someone is good enough, you’ll like them no matter if you experienced it live or later. Some cases can be made for certain cases I guess, like you can say Hogan was more aimed at kids so since I wasn’t a kid when I watched his older stuff then that’s why.

Because like I said, they are folks I enjoyed when I watched back stuff that is before I was alive or before I had any memory of events and liked people. So I don’t think seeing it later changes to much

I think it's more people are more likely to like stuff in general if they see it as a kid and they usually don't change their minds as they grow up
