a lot of the games you usually have one main character and your party constantly changes depending on the story but FF15 had the same 4 the whole game which was fun.

Yeah Chrono Cross you could pick your party based on if they agreed to join, some you had to do side missions for

And the story paths removed some cause they'd like die

now my favorite RPG of all time, Suikoden, was vastly different. You could pick from 108 different characters to be in your party.

It's being remastered for current systems which makes me happy.

WWE2K23 did that for the MyRise mode lol. Do side missions to get someone to agree to join your faction. The more you do the better the character available. Naturally I got my 2 characters to be Roman and Rock.

Chrono Trigger I played the shit out of on my SNES Emulator back in the early 2000's. Classic game. But I typically like my RPGs on an emulator when I can spam save-states so I don't die lol.

It's on like everything too, you can even download a version on Apple TV

I had that at one point then the synergy of having the 2 Samoans won out for me.

There's a part in Cross where you play as thr characters from Trigger tho and they do the 2D look for it
