I mean what would end up happening is if they had to pay employees the price would be twice as much to begin with but you're right. I'm pretty sure living wage via tips is a US exclusive thing isn't it?

I get tipped at work sometimes when I assist a guest to their vehicle with a large item. I used to not accept it due to store policy but now whenever I’m offered a tip I take it and I just don’t tell anyone else in the store

tips are great when it's tipping someone for going above and beyond to help or something but pretty much compulsory tipping like we have is ass backwards. I mean here's it's like you tip 20% and go higher if they're awesome.

Telling ppl prices go up if wages do is corporate propaganda and extortion. They only charge as much as ppl are willing to pay. Inflation has gone up n wages haven't match for decades. It's all lies n its always in their favor. Prices never go down
