Nah I usually just email their accounting department and ask if it was paid

And half the time it was, the check just never made it to me like it was supposed to

I had a job once where I worked at one of those payday loans where you can get a loan that you agree to pay back in 2 weeks. I would have to call all the people that didn't pay us back in the 2 weeks. those calls were always fun.

was a crazy high interest rate too, I think the most i could loan was like 440 and they'd owed us 500 in 2 weeks.

It's way too casual, they'd just agree to these deals over the phone and never communicate that it was actually official after

They all hate me bc I require some kind of email confirmation to save before allowing them now

Payday loans are crazy predatory

yeah, i quit after about a month. place was shady as fuck.

they didn't even have a modern security system, i had to change a tape in a vcr every morning i went in for the cameras

one of the days I worked the drawer was off like $50 and the boss tried to make me pay it. he said if i didn't give him the money right then he would take it out of my check.

I think it was a scare tactic just to see if i stole it, I obviously didn't have $50 on me so I said I'm not paying it because multiple people used the register, he never followed through.

one of the girls i worked with said he would always hit on her when they worked alone and the dude was just a sleazeball. I ended up just not showing up to work one day
