yeah I'm not comparing it to Japanese super events just because that's a completely different fan base. the mutsa an noah stuff was pretty nuts for example. historic X as well or wtv it was called, but I think that cross over super shows in Japan have not fully hit the full on dream match of the decade level. though I think its heading that way with Noah and NJPW

Yeah, pretty much agree honestly, and a lot comes down to personal taste and subjectivty. Perosnally, i can think of a american event in recent years where I wa slike "Holy shit this is awesome. I need to watch this and inject it into my blood"
