i can be guilty of this in the past for sure, I try now to preface stuff by going ''I read this in a few other corners of the net, is that how ppl feel here?'' or just mock the takes and then say this is why i like this place lol

its even worse when you pick it apart using what others have said happened using their words and not using any context, so it just becomes such meaningless talk.

It's like 9/10 people coming just to bring the mood down by presenting a bad take they read somewhere else and trying to present it as the concensus, so as to mock whatever they're talking about
