I was actually looking into Nigel's situation more bc I remember his WWE doc saying something to the sort that he could decide to come back if he really wanted to, he just didn't have the desire at all at this point and liked commentating

it sounds like the work he would have to do to get back wasnt worth the position he figured he would be in in wrestling when he can commentate for good money and not re fuck up his body

And yeah while he had his health issues, the hepatitis had been under control and safe for him to wrestle with for awhile. He just made the choice bc he couldn't get a WWE deal and he didn't wanna go back to TNA and felt ROH wrestling would break him down for less money
