Yea, Shango had a dark Match against Santana on Mania IX... they could've given us Taker/Shango instead of the Gonzales match

if you're switching up the competitors to that extent you could just have Taker/Yoko in a battle of heavyweights and then have Bret/Savage as the main event

There's a swerve in the way I put this together though. With that curve ball, Taker would've been around in 90... and the later revised part would fit surprisingly good for what his opponents were doing in real life.
