I don’t want off seasons, but yes, Lucha built the storylines like the show was a legit soap opera and generally it was never boring. If a legit promotion could do that today without the need for an off season, I’d be up for it. It would have to be a company like ROH that’s small and has tapings.

and yeah, early ECW wasn’t the best, but once they got on PPV and tv and whatnot, he toned that down and produced some good angles and matches.
