The GameCube versions of 2 and 3 aren't so much remasters and just out-and-out ports.

The only ones I've spent any real time on are 1 and 4 and both were like 15 years ago lol

They proably have higher def compared to the original PlayStation or frame-rate, but there's not much of a difference.

Still though, I'd heavily recommend OG3 > R3make.

R3make has way too many issues to really viably support buying. Good game, but a terrible remake.

I'd prefer to play the remakes over the originals now just because they are easier to play and there's like 0 difficulty with infinite ammo weapons but yeah the OG games are classic.
