Can't agree with that. I've really enjoyed at least the first Avengers and the most recent ones. Joker was never meant to be a leading character. That would be like making Spike from Buffy a lead. Thought Joker was just a rip off of Scorsese films, and wasn't half as deep as it thought it was.

We'll never agree on superhero movies, I don't follow them. Joker looked interestin' and I enjoyed it. They do need to follow up with a Batman film... is this why Robert Pattison was cast?

Well I'm not a typical comic book movie fan. I do want original ideas but I just don't think Joker had that. Plus for me it was weak overall. Phoenix was the highlight.

Not sure. I'm looking forward to seeing the next Batman because its from Matt Reeves who did the recent Apes films.

Oh I doubt Phoenix will be back to play Joker. He doesn't want to be tied to a franchise. Feels like a one off.
