Taker was carried by his presentation, his entrance, his size, and his athletic ability. To say his promos were great would just be asinine. They were... fine, at most.

For sure, his Biker Taker promos were legit really good which was my point. Taker didn't need to cut good promos before then, and that's fine. But to say they were superb is just wrong. I get having it fit the character but there comes a point where at some point you gotta let him cut a good promo and he didn't until he was a biker.

yeah same with his in ring tbh, for a long time it was just "fine". and that worked well enough as well
