I like both Beatles and Stones a lot but if I were to pick a side, I’d go with The Beatles

It's really not when comparing the influence between the two bands. Rolling Stones had the longevity but it really is debatable whether or not the Rolling Stones were actually influential to any other bands outside of live stadium shows. The influence that the Beatles have, even today, is still written about and pretty plain when one considers what popular music was like in 1963 compared to six years later in 1969.

As far as preferences go tho, yeah that comes down to just subjectivity. Though I always tell people to give them a second chance if they didn't like their music the first time.
