I chalk it up to in my head canon as them taking time to rest. it’s like in how 2 out of 3 falls sometimes someone will tap quickly when normally they wouldn’t. Save energy type of deal. If you don’t have to get up right away, take some time to recover.

but ya, the "rule" in general is pinfalls and subs only count in the ring. its also why a rope break would break a pin or a sub, but in a weird tun of event, u could still keep the sub on and not get dqd ? lol

yeah thats the weird thing : no dq does not equate fca , and that is correct , i also grew up on Harcore title where pretty much all no dq was fca anyways

and technically if you have to finish in the ring, rope breaks do count, bc that counts as breaking the plane of the ring. You just won't be DQd or have to break the submission, you just can't get a tap either that counts

I've never understood this spot either bc they do this count spot when both guys are down in singles matches in the ring and I've never seen it get to 10 but that would be the weakest draw ever

dude just got a fucked up arm. also sometimes refs are fuckign weird, and theyll do the rope break, but the heel just pulls them off the rope without releasing

the only time i liek it is double count out of the ring, because i can kayfabe that the guys hate each other so much they forgot about the match itself and are now just fighting straight 8
