I mean that's for me the biggest plus when it comes to AEW... it wouldn't completely feel outta place, if they'd suddenly strap a small rocket to someone like (for example) Jungle Boy for a couple of months and put him into the title picture or even give him the title for some time. Fans would love it, the match quality is obviously still on that level and it wouldn't feel like the end of his career, if he'd go back to other stuff afterwards.

Jungle Boy is a mystery. thirst trap. getting better at promos and in ring. mega over. has marquee matches. I think maybe just needs a tiny bit more character work and a believable promo style he is more comfy

I would objectively say his strikes are the weakest part of his game so ya, japan style strong style striking training would be aces
