Medically? You can go to sleep if you get a concussion.

It's a myth that if you fall asleep after getting a concussion you'll suffer any brain damage or die from it. A concussion is a blow to the head, and you're better off resting your head and shutting down much of the functions through sleep so that the body can focus on emergency healing.
