Idk if it was intentional or happy coincidence or what. I always assumed though that they called it Rebellion because it took place at the Rebel Entertainement Complex (or wtv it's called) in Toronto

I feel pretty strongly that they just signed him back up quickly because they maybe felt it was a matter of time before he did something else... got him back on TV asap to give that return bump early in Triple H's tenure... but then realized they had fuck all for him to do and his character requires a pretty significant amount of time and resources to book decently
