From my experience it has the opposite affect tbh lol like even the staunchest patriot kids would be annoyed they had to stand and pledge every morning

It was also funny when we got to high school and got the communism bad talks in classes and they'd be like "yeah they make you pledge to the dictators everyday there" and people were like um.....
