Well when you don't know emotion i think wildly going from one to the other works also because you don't have to worry about the transitions that normally get you to those points.

for sure, it was a pretty savvy casting. I get what you mean though about Bale, he has an excellent stoic face

wasnt really a terminator movie but i liked it, I also have fond memories of it because we went to a midnight screening and snuck in a legit large pizza

I actually enjoyed Salvation. They had two books come out after T2 that they should have adapted though.
