Heyman was given the book and they failed.....twice, when are people going to learn that running that rinky dink ECW isn't the same as running Raw or Smackdown?

I don't think its a bad thing anyways, in sports, if an executive is offered a higher position on a rival team, usually the cool thing to do is let them go. its not really the same as talent. and it could be positive for aew wwe relations down the line which, tbh, lets get her done and be friendly so we can have more good wrestling forever

Bret Hart should be given the Pat Patterson role because he's a great finish guy...Or X-Pac

Of course it's different. With one he could do whatever the fuck he wanted, with the other definitely not.

Nobody is given the book when vince is micro managing everything. Not saying Heyman is a golden god in wrestling

The point is nobody really knows what he did because he was never fully in control.

well yeah and and lets say he booked roh, TK is a micromanager as well and is going to still say no to shit. I do think he wouldnt need to book roh but his creative input backstage would be very valuable for AEW regardless, much how its invaluable to WWE atm even if vince ignored a lot of his ideas. not all were great either, he loves that cuck shit

Vince Russo would do better backstory than Heyman.....that's how bad at storytelling Heyman was....great performer bar none....but creative :travolta.gif

Well that's the thing it could have been either . Just like I don't think Bischoff ever really had a chance to touch creative. Honestly think he was hired purely as a scapegoat for going over to Fox they knew numbers would flounder a bit brought him in just to fire him a few months later. Honestly think that was the deal from the start and both parties knew
