because imo fantasy and science ficton are broader terms than horror because horror or other subgenres/themes are explored in those genres. in much the same way as most genres fit within drama or comedy (often both)

ultimately im of the mind of not denying stuff unless its outrageous and will cause issues. in this case i dont think anyone would have a problem, and yeah, a little research helps. again im of the mind if there is horror elements and few ppl consider it scary or horror themed, I think thats honestly good enough. dont think anyone will abuse said loose rules anyways, at least id hope not as its indeed supposed to be fun
