When my boss gave me a raise he literally used like a calculated formula and was trying to like compare my salary to the average of what people make and then subtracting a little because I’m still young. I was like the amount of effort you put into this is truly amazing lmao

I did find out later the owner was willing to pay me a lot to stay but the GM told him not to bother bc he knew I wanted out BAD lol

Lmao when my old owner had me start trying to fix his other dealerships accounting and he was telling me he wanted me to start going over there once a week, i was like okay so am I gonna be added to his payroll or are they just gonna reimburse us and I'll get more on our payroll (I literally ran payroll), and I could tell by his face that he didn't expect me to ask anything about being compensated more

If somehow I could just obtain 10 to 12k I could start my own company and I'd be set. If only i found out I had a rich relative I didn't know about and they died...

Yeah I think he just thought since I was hourly that clocking in would be enough but just bc I only go there once a week doesn't mean it won't add onto the workload a fuck ton lol
