Actually, the way the bill is written might be more problematic...seems like what will happen is companies like Uber and Lyft will instead just make their employees start an LLC for themselves. From what I am looking up Calfiornia tried to do exactly what this bill is trying to do at the state level and had to fix it a year a later, but the federal bill doesn't have the fixes in place that Calfornia already worked out
