Everyone here thinks I'm making stuff up when I tell them stories about that job I swear lol I don't even blame them, shit doesn't sound real to me. I was legit hired to do 100% of the accounting for thr dealership with no real interview at all. That was my first red flag but I needed the job and I wouldn't have gotten this one without it bc my dealership experience is how i was recruited

I've had two jobs that had shitty owners like that. Quit a management job becaus my direct supervisor openly admitted to stealing reported to his supervisor didn't do anything so I left Homie don't play that

in a way I preferred it, job was way better when he forgot about us for months at a time cause he was busy with little league or his trophy hunts. But when COVID first hit he decided he wanted to micromanage like crazy and it was fucking terrible

I don't know how true this is (it's coming from a lifelong car salesman after all) but the GM told me months after I left that the owner asked him if there was "any dollar amount" he could offer me to stay and the GM straight up told him there was no chance which....I'm glad bc if he offered me a stupid amount of money I would have stayed and still been miserable

That's happened at the management job I just told you about offered me a transfer a week after I was gone and a raise. I said transfer raise and GM spot. He said I'd be the quickest person out of management training to GM ever. I said that's what'll take especially since you didn't fire the guy.

I'm actively trying my best to avoid a promotion here, I like my spot and workload and the pay is enough

iactually understand this well, tho for me i didnt get a promotion so i switched to bare minimum
