had to replace a Samsung TV I got for admittedly cheap after a year and a couple months of use. don't really expect things to make it past warranty anymore lmao

just feels more careless and obvious i guess as i get older and time goes faster

My mom had to replace our inside "nice" fridge twice in a year once while the shitty 40 year old one outside on the boathouse has experienced floods and a tornado and still works

And then everything having software nowadays to be smart makes it out of date quicker too

it was working fine this morning. turned it on tonight and it's just black lol

ah well, gonna have to call the repair guy in the morning. google is no help, offering suggestions for smart tvs. this tv is like 12 years old easily

But yeah nowadays if that happened to my TV I'd def think software issue vs hardware

so i've turned the whole thing off at the main power, it's been 30 minutes, i'm gonna try and turn it back on. I'm hoping for a red light. If it's a green light, it's game over
