It is weird. The past two weeks I've seen two guys I've served with at games on TV watching their sons play. It blows my mind I knew two kids in middle school that are on TV

I played AAU ball with Ray Allen briefly. I had a few teamates that made it to the NFL and MLB. I went to a small high school and small Div II college in SC; it was a big deal for us

I put a 15 year old Kevin Garnett into the first row of seats at a basketball camp all star game one year

maybe he was 14? He was skinny as a rail, I was 18 and in my prime. Loose ball... He dove for it. I ran to it. It did not end well for him
