Maybe I’m just popping me, but I think the timing is perfect for the program I laid out.

I just think they should retain MJF beating Punk and not in a title defense. By winning it. I can be alone in that.

Tbh I think in this situation Tony could strip Punk and still be "consistent" if he strips the elite of their titles as well and says it's due to the suspensions in both cases and interim titles are only for injuries, Punk's suspension trumps his injury in that case. At this point like I said earlier I've accepted the interims and don't really care either way tho
