I hate that we did what we did to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, because that was a horrible event, but speaking pragmatically, it shortened the war, needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few, and all that.

the only justification I've heard that actually makes sense to me is that whoever dropped a nuke first was gonna be the kast nuke dropped for awhile once we saw the affect. I was never sure how the people arguing it still saw America as the good guys tho, you can agree with those facts and still not like the choice
