good attitude, i can see why your personality helps when powering through the first quarter of silent Hill
I was fighting with the controls the first day but was worth sticking with it and trying to get in that mindset of playing it like back in the day. Took some adjusting.

I think it's important to remember in Silent Hill that you can run past a lot of enemy encounters. Not worth fighting everything unless you need to.

honestly not having any muscle memory at all for that game kinda adds to that wtf is going on feeling
It's pretty immersive, and I'm opening the map a lot. You definitely get lost in that game and it adds to the 'Oh fuck, where's the save point again' :lol

I will say it's nice of them to start you back at the boss battles in Silent Hill. I died on the first boss, and thought I'd go back to my save from like 30 minutes before but they actually start you before the boss with your ammo still. Good guy devs.

think it's actually gone up over $100 in price, a game that ubiquitous just because it was so much better than everything else lmao

Of course save stating is a thing, but I feel like getting your ass kicked is part of the experience.
