Without getting into detail, I do hope the same, but also the comments that got him banned both times really were off putting to me. Considering one was joking about a community I, and other members, are part of, and the other just something genuinely disgusting.

I am in no way condoning or diminishing what he did it was awful and totally ban worthy. It’s ok to agree someone should be gone but also hope they are bettering themselves and not spiraling further
