Sure, but some have it worse off than others.

Pretty much this, and currently two groups of people in this country are in a legal wilderness at the moment because their rights are being chipped away and trampled on even as we talk, especially in Southern states like Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Texas. I feel like to say, "Sure, but other groups have it just as bad!" is a more reductive and narrow-minded viewpoint tbh.

Jon Mulaney invited Chappelle up on stage at one of his shows over the weekend and Chappelle made several transphobic and homophobic jokes. Mulaney is known for being progressive, a feminist, and he has a big LGBT following so it’s a bad look especially when he hugged Dave afterwards

The same could be said for a lot of different issues. Did they have to go through being molested as a child and living dirt poor never knowing where the next meal was going to come from?

Issues like that have existed forever though, and while poverty is bad, and child molestation is abhorrent, we have been trying to address this for years with welfare and heavy penalties for child molesters. Women and Transgender people don't even have *that* right now.
