That's fair. I played it after so many action RE games, so I feel that personally helped my enjoyment as I was pining for a more classic style one again. Plus I love Claire too. Was a very frustrating game though, for sure.

RE1 has a charm about it even though it's not good. Nostalgia helps. I do love Barry's voice lines.

perhaps was having a sucky week but yeah, apparently the sotry is rad and the twins are cool a.f tho, i just had trouble with the old controls and as barry said, tedious might be a good word for it

REmake reuses several lines from the original, but just better directed.
