I love Code Veronica, it's very tough tho and has issues, but it's a good length game with some neat ideas.

That's fair. I played it after so many action RE games, so I feel that personally helped my enjoyment as I was pining for a more classic style one again. Plus I love Claire too. RE1 has a charm about it even though it's not good. Nostalgia helps. I do love Barry's voice lines.I'd rather have campy shitty voice-acting, than boringly stereotypical voice-acting
