I know the Iran-CONTRA thing is tired out and all, but he was also responsible for the housing market bubble, tax cuts for the wealthy (which only began to cause a sharp divide in the middle class and upper class around the time of Bush), he and the CIA were responsible for funding the Mujahideen in Afghanistan which in turn led to the rise of Al Qaeda and the Taliban in the Middle East; Reagan's regime also supported far-right anti-communist regimes in Southern America; and before anyone mentions it, no, being Anti-Communist is not necessarily a bad thing, but the regimes that Reagan supported were a step left of fascists. I mean, my god, look at some of the shit still going on in places like Venezuela and Argentina.
