and honestly I’m sure so ad agencies care more for one over the other. Like a company that wants to sell to a Pacific age will care about a demo but a company that’s trying to sell the everyone will probably care what the household number.

100% , they make money from all demos its just the the 19-49 or wtv the fuck it is now is the demo that spends the most, therefor those ads pay the most

data says old people don't buy shit in general unless they've bought it all their lives so even if your product is for everyone you're still more than likely going to focus advertising on younger people who are more likely to be swayed
