The key is not over-asking. Since we're all new, we kind of kept peppering people with questions in a cross where everyone basically ran out of time since we had time limits (doesn't happen IRL, but it is practice). Mine I sort of wanted to just focus on clarifications on a few things. The one with the company rep was great and I hit my points. The other was an expert witness, but the person playing her had tech issues on her end making it hard to hear, that and she had a thick accent and English wasn't her first language so she kept answering the wrong question

tech issues? was it remote? or they were remote?

But you're going to deal with that in court whether a witness isn't a native English speaker, or in the days of COVID, tech issues.

To not sound cocky, I think I did pretty solid. Even beforehand when we were practicing I noticed I had issues with either talking too fast or saying things like "Uh-huh" "Exactly' "Okay" after a witness answers because of my natural sayings to just say "I got it"

And I kept that to a min in the trial. What the judge said I needed to work on was just feeling comfortable which comes with time... Also I did that when 10mg of my Anxiety medication that morning fell down the drain so I had a lower dose, a big headache, had a ticket that morning because school parking passes are overpriced to shit, and just being naturally an anxious beaver girl
